STONEHAM KENNEL
HEALTH GUARANTEE • Puppies are guaranteed to be of good temperament at time of sale.  • Puppies are guaranteed to be in good health at time of sale. Buyer must take puppy to his/her own veterinarian for an examination within 5 days of the date of sale.
The puppy is not guaranteed for health problems if multiple vaccinations are given at the same time before sixteen weeks. The WCA has issued a policy statement recommending a conservative approach to vaccination of Weimaraner puppies because of a potential auto-immune reaction to vaccinations. Your puppy has been given a five way combination vaccine at six weeks, and a week later a bordatella vaccine. It is recommended that your vet follow up with another vaccination not to exceed a five way combination. Vaccines for heart worm, Guardia, Lyme, and others as recommended by your vet should not be given at the same time as the initial follow-up vaccination. Injectable medication for flea and tic control is not recommended neither is the use of topical flea and tic medication before sixteen weeks.  Please allow at least a week between vaccinations for the puppy’s system to react to the vaccine.
• Seller must receive a signed verification letter from Buyer’s veterinarian within 10 days of the date of sale if puppy is to be returned due to illness (or death).  • Puppies are guaranteed to be free of debilitating hereditary crippling defects that would cause them to be unsuitable as family companions up to the age of one year. Determination of what constitutes a hereditary defect is to be by the agreement of two veterinarians agreeable to both parties. The Buyer will assume the cost of the professional opinions. If the dog is found to have hereditary crippling defects, Seller will replace the dog with a puppy of the same gender from another litter.•
• Puppies have been given appropriate vaccinations and worm treatments as outlined in a separate Vaccination Schedule.
The Breeder requests that the buyer use the kennel name of Stoneham as part to the dog’s name, (e.g., Stoneham's Baron von Richtoven.)
